On April 23, the foundation laying ceremony for a 4,800t Maotai-flavour liquor production base named “Xiangjiao · Venture to Maotai-flavour” was held in the Xiangjiao Ecological Cultural Brewery Town, marking the official access of Xiangjiao Liquor Co., Ltd., a leader of the Hunan liquor industry, to the Maotai-flavour liquor brewing sector. Incorporating all production lines of Luzhou-flavour liquor, Luzhou-Maotai flavor liquor, and Maotai-flavour liquor, Xiangjiao becomes a Grand Slam champion among liquor enterprises and runs “one core business with three tributaries” in Hunan Province. It creates a new pattern for the full blossom of the Hunan liquor industry.

Wang Xiaoyu, general manager of Xiangjiao Liquor Co., Ltd., said in his speech that this 4,800t Maotai-flavour liquor production project is intended to meet the consumption demand for this liquor variety in Hunan, diversify the catalogue of Hunan liquor products, and contribute to the better and faster development of the Hunan liquor industry. Well-prepared on the basis of previous extensive process research and demonstration efforts, Xiangjiao will speed up the construction of the first brewery workshop in this 4,800t Maotai-flavour liquor production project and try to put it into operation in this fall as a great tribute to the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China.

At the ceremony, Cai Dianwei, member of the Standing Committee and executive deputy mayor of the CPC Shaoyang Municipal Committee, congratulated Xiangjiao on the 4,800t Maotai-flavour liquor production project on behalf of the Shaoyang Municipal Committee and Municipal Government and encouraged Xiangjiao to be an enterprise with “one core business and three tributaries” in the brewery industry.
