On November 1, National Treasure Li Du received two pieces of good news: it was honored “National Industrial Heritage” and “National AAAA Grade Scenic Spot”. It is rare for a brand to win two national honors in one year, not only in Jiangxi Province, but also in the entire liquor industry. These new honors are another two national awards that National Treasure Li Du has received, plus the previous “China Time-honored Brand” and “National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit”.

“National Industrial Heritage” is a ranking led by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is intended to strengthen the protection and utilization of industrial heritages, inherit the Chinese industrial spirit, and promote the innovation and development of industrial and cultural industries. Four liquor companies, i.e. “Li Du Distillery Historic Site”, “Moutai Brewing Workshop”, “Wuliangye Kiln Pool and Brewing Workshop”, and “Luzhou Laojiao Kiln Pool and Brewing Workshop”, rankamong the second batch of national industrial heritage list.

Compared to the other liquor companies honored as “National Industrial Heritage”, Li Du Distillery Historic Site’s status as the earliest, most endurable, and most distinctive ancient liquor workshop with most relics and artifacts in China is evident in its “16 cellars dating back to the Yuan Dynasty, 12 to the Ming Dynasty, 32 to the Qing Dynasty, and over 350 cultural relics dating back to all of the three dynasties”. It is the best relics in China and the world to testify the production, development and technological breakthrough of distillation in the Yuan Dynasty.

The award of “National AAAA Grade Tourism Scenic Spot” will surely bring Li Du Liquor Industry Co., Ltd. unprecedented opportunities for development. “We will not try to compete with European wineries now.
