On October 17, the 2018 National Poverty Alleviation Day and Commendation Conference was held in the Broadcasting Hall of the Municipal Radio and TV Center of Hengyang to award excellent collectives and individuals who made outstanding contributions to the poverty alleviation in Hengyang City. Tan Kehong, generational manager of Hunan Yanfeng Liquor Co., Ltd., was one of the 40 entrepreneurs who were honored as “the Most Beautiful Contributors in Poverty Alleviation”.

As part of the project, Yanfeng Liquor Co., Ltd. sponsored the construction of a PV power station in Youmatang Village. In order to raise money, the company designed a special package for the “Yanfeng Pure Customized Liquor” products, which were purchased by various trade associations, Hengyang Chambers of Commerce in other places, member entrepreneurs, and those engaged in non-public economy that supported the project. Yanfeng Liquor Co., Ltd. donated RMB 300,000, and the final proceeds were all used to support the construction of the PV power station in Youmatang Village, Maoshi Town, Hengnan County.
