On August 21, the fourth education donation activity "Xiang Jiao Students, Progressing with Hope "jointly organized by the Municipal Committee of Shaoyang City and Xiang Jiao Liquor Co. was held in Xiang Jiao Liquor Co., in which 50 poor colleague students from the counties and the downtown of Shaoyang City received a scholarship of RMB 10,000 for each. Xiang Jiao Liquor Co. has helped 200 poor students in all after the first such activity in 2013, with total donation amount of RMB 2 million.

Leaders that participated the donation activity includes Li Zhixiong, Vice Mayor of the Municipal People's Government, Zhang Yingmei, Secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee, Zeng Jianping, Deputy Secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee, Luo Changlin, President of Shaoyang County Chamber of Commerce and responsible person of China Education Assistance Website, Li Jianchu, Vice President of the VATS Group, Wang Xiaoyu, General Manager of Xiang Jiao Liquor Co., and Peng Mingjian, Deputy General Manager of Xiang Jiao Liquor Co..

Wang Xiaoyu said in the donation ceremony that Xiang Jiao Liquor Co. of Hunan Province had always adhered to the concept of "CreatingWealth, Returning Society" and put public welfare on the same important position as enterprise development. Xiang Jiao Liquor Co. wishes to express its gratitude to all sectors of the society through the donation activity and make modest assistance to those students who are poor but outstanding to help the complete education. In the donation ceremony, each of the 50 poor university freshmen have received RMB 10,000 scholarship.
 
Xiang Aijun, a student admitted to the Hunan Normal University this year, said that he cherished this education opportunity and understood the hardships of his parents by having to leave homeland to work at the age of 15. Now he returns to the campus under the nation’s preferential policies and feels proud for the first time for being a Chinese. He also said that he should repay the kindness by real action and return a lot for even a little kindness.

As a responsible modern enterprise, Xiang Jiao Liquor Co. Has set up the education fund "Xiang Jiao Students, Progressing with Hope" since 2013, assisting 50 poor colleague students from Shaoyang City who are poor but outstanding by RMB 10,000 for each person each year.
