Knightly Conducts of Liquor Industry Hero League,donating RMB 900,000 to Help Ally Tide over Difficu

Personnel of the Liquor Industry Hero League visited little Kang Ming who is suffering from leukemia and daughter of Wu Gaoyi, an ally of the league, in Haidian Branch of Peking University People's Hospital on October 10 on behalf of Chairman Wu Xiangdong and the allies, and gave her the donation of RMB 907,867 from Wu Xiangdong and 5618 allies and employees.

The two and half year old Wu Kangming, daughter of Wu Gaoyi, ally of the Liquor Industry Hero League, got her leukaemia relapse on August 29 this year. And since the family has already spent RMB millions in previous treatment, it got into trouble and could not pay the huge costs for future chemotherapy and transplantation and finally asked the League for help.

After verifying the situation of little Wu Kangming, the Liquor Industry Hero League launched a donation initiative on September 8 and later the VATS Group launched a initiative for continuing donation on September 21. Wu Xiangdong, Chairman of China Liquor Industry Hero League and VATS Group, advocated the employees to carry forward the corporate value of "All help when disaster strike" and provide help. In less than a month's time, more than RMB 900,000 was collected.

As early as June 11 this year, warehouse of Ye Yuetong, an Zhejiang liquor business ally of the League, suffered from a fire and got great property losses. Chairman Wu Xiangdong launched a charitable donation initiative in the League and in VATS Group to help Ye Yuetong out of difficulty. In two day’s time more than RMB 700,000 was donated by the 5,000 allies and staff of VATS Group, bringing care to Ye Yuetong and giving him confidence to fight the difficulty.

China Liquor Industry Hero League has launched two donations to help those unfortunate allies within four months, and got donation of more than RMB 1.6 million, making people feel the cohesion and appeal of the League while lamenting the mishaps of life.

After the two donation activities, Chairman Wu Xiangdong made a statement on Wechat’s Friend Circle: "From the perspective of social responsibility, our company is already on the road of success, and we shall definitely make a significant contribution to the industry and to the Chinese national industry if we continue so.”
