Genuine Liquor Craftsmanship Spirit Summit Forum themed by “Treasured Moutai-flavor Liquor and Craftsmanship over World” was hosted by Guizhou Genuine Liquor Making Co., Ltd. and held in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province on March 31, 2017. About 850 participants attended the Forum including national liquor expert groups led by Ma Yong, Secretary General of Specialized Committee for White Liquor under China National Food Industry Association; Wei Shuwang, Mayor of Zunyi City; Wu Xiangdong, Chairman of Jindong Group; Members of Hero Alliance in China’s White Liquor Industry; and distributors of Genuine Liquor (Zhenjiu) across China. They jointly discussed how white liquor producers would persist in the craftsmanship spirit and make high-quality good liquor.

 

In the Forum, white liquor-making master Mr. Zhang Zhiyun in Moutai Liquor Off-site Pilot and Ms. Feng Xiaoning, Section Chief of Quality Inspection Department of Moutai Liquor Off-site Pilot in previous years reviewed how the predecessor of Genuine Liquor Company--Off-site Production Test (Pilot) Project of Guizhou Moutai Liquor persisted in the craftsmanship spirit and made the Moutai-flavor liquor.

 

Ma Yong said the Moutai-flavor liquor was an important constituent part in China’s white liquor. Its production was closely related to the encouragement and advocacy for the craftsmanship spirit which also ran through the creation and development history of Genuine Liquor (Zhenjiu). People of Genuine Liquor made great achievements in four aspects of devotion, persistence, endurance, and grand thinking.

 

Wu Xiangdong, Chairman of Jindong Group, said: “We hold this Craftsmanship Spirit Forum considering Zunyi as the birthplace of Moutai, the greatest white liquor in the world. Moutai has persisted in the craftsmanship spirit all through the years and has built a regional brand into a world-famous brand. Our researches have found the most significant feature of Moutai is to persist in the craftsmanship spirit to produce white liquor, focus on quality and build the brand step by step. Other companies in the white liquor industry shall learn from Moutai. The development of Genuine Liquor must also learn from the craftsmanship spirit of Moutai, produce high-quality white liquor and make contributions to creating more high-quality Moutai-flavor liquor in Zunyi City.”

 

In the Forum, Hu Bo, General Manager of Genuine Liquor Company, said Genuine Liquor had always persisted in the craftsmanship spirit and had established microbial environment and sites quite suitable for making high-quality Moutai-flavor liquor through more than 40 years of production accumulation.

 

In the white liquor industry, the Moutai-flavor liquor has numerous and sophisticated production processes, and each process needs constant improvement and each drop of white liquor needs heart-devoted making. The participating experts advocate: the high-quality white liquor can be made, the consumers’ confidence can be kept, and the brand image of Guizhou white liquor can be greatly enhanced on the whole in markets only through persistence in the craftsmanship spirit.
