On August 17, the National Intellectual Property Administration issued the Decision on Approving the Registration of No. 28383115 “Hehua” Trademark [(202) Shang Biao Yi Zi No. 0000131]. The Hehua liquor trademark jointly applied by Guizhou Hehua Liquor Co., Ltd. and Hebei China Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd. was approved for registration.

In August 2018, VATS Store developed a real Hehua brand together with Hebei China Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd. (manufacturer of Hehua tobacco) and Guizhou Hehua Liquor Co., Ltd. (manufacturer of Hehua liquor). Previously, the market was flooded by different varieties of Hehua liquor whose authenticity was hard to tell, and there was weak awareness of property rights protection in the industry.

Guizhou Hehua Liquor Co., Ltd. officially announced that they would take the registration of the trademark as an opportunity to uphold ingenuity and the brewing process of Daqu Kunsha Maotai-flavour liquor. While pursuing better product quality, they will issue a rights protection statement against infringing products on the market and launch a nationwide forceful rights protection operation named “Breeze Operation” in which legal weapons will be employed to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the company.
