Based on the spirit of “Notice Concerning Accelerating the Advancement for Declaration of “Intangibles Cultural Heritage” and “Geographical Indication Product”, Guilin Xiangshan Liquor Industry had set up in time its working team headed by its General Manager, and listed declaration for “geographical indication protection product” and “intangible cultural heritage” as important works of 2010, to dig and arrange data on “Traditional Brewing Technique of Xiangshan Liquor” and declare in time “Traditional Brewing Technique of Xiangshan Liquor” In May 2010, Xiangshan Liquor Industry was listed in the intangible cultural heritage directory of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, laying therefore a solid foundation for further declaration as national intangible cultural heritage.
